WELCOME TO ARTS-CULTURE-PEEL
|
Arts Culture Peel was founded to represent and promote the
diversity and vibrancy of all the Arts in the Peel region.
We are a 'not for profit', membership based association managed by a board with representatives drawn from the membership.
We believe in promoting the role that arts and cultural
development plays in building a strong community.
In an effort to do this we have:
- Leased facilities at 63 Ormsby Terrace. These facilities consist of an Artists workshop and a hall for use by members as a rehearsal, exhibition or meeting venue. The artists workshop is currently occupied fulltime by a resident artist but will be available from March 2009. The Hall is available for use by appointment on Fridays and Saturdays all day, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

- Offered a range of arts-based courses, programs, projects and events. Our focus in 2008 has been on Youth art classes.
- Organised exhibition space at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre for our members in January 2009 and a larger exhibition to come in September 2009.

We would welcome suggestions from the community that highlight their local needs so that we can improve access to the Arts for all the community
